Today’s topic is verbs — the past tense.
We’ll quickly go over verb groups, their basic conjugations, and how to use the ta-form and te-form. Don’t worry — we’re not getting into anything too complicated. We’ll just go through some examples and get a feel for how it works.
Verb Groups Review
First, let’s review how verbs are divided. As mentioned in the previous lesson, Japanese verbs are grouped into three types: Ichidan verbs, Godan verbs, and irregular verbs.
