Overview
This lesson teaches how to link multiple adjectives, nouns, and clauses together using the て-form of adjectives and nouns. This is how Japanese expresses ideas like “big and black,” “beautiful and quiet,” or “This book has many kanji and so is difficult.”
Each word type connects in its own way:
| Type | Connecting form | Example |
| い-adjective | remove い → くて | 大きい → 大きくて |
| な-adjective | + で | きれい → きれいで |
| Noun | + で | 学生 → 学生で |
